There were some treats at the office and a flower for your special someone to start off the day on Saturday. Groups were enjoying the ice/snow challenge. The park has completely changed from a few months ago! Look for the trails to get really interesting in the spring after all this white stuff melts.
The next day of wheeling is March 13th/14th! Don’t wait another moment to come down. Whether it’s sunny, rainy, snowy, muddy, or icy there will always be a new adventure waiting for you here at Bundy Hill Off Road.
Here’s a video from Saturday of what brought the damage to this rig. This particular area was very slick. If you notice, both vehicles are sliding back down the incline with their brakes locked up.
I came out mainly to pickup stuff from the night run (my wife’s haunted forest stuff to be exact). Well since I had the trailer and it was the last day, I decided to test it on the trails. The landing leg was hitting the ground a little, but I managed to get it up Nut Check with ease and through the woods. Members of Chicago’s Down & Dirty Offroad were there.
This wasn’t last weekend, but I think it’s worthy of seeing some time at the top. Here are some girls that decided to go on a little trip to Bundy Hill. Let’s hear it for the girls!
There was some great footage of Warn Valley also. If the user who made the vids doesn’t mind they’ll be posted over here today.
